1. Who we are
London Dental Implants Clinic is the implant dentistry service of the Perfect Smile practice, 106 Putney High Street, London, SW15 1RG ("we", "us"). 2. Information we collect
Through this website we collect only what you choose to give us: your name, phone number and email address when you submit an enquiry or consultation request; the treatment you're interested in and any message you write, which may include information about your dental or general health; and your communication preferences. We also collect limited technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) through cookies, described in our Cookie Policy. Full clinical records created if you become a patient are held under our separate patient privacy notice, available at the practice.
3. Why we use it, and our lawful bases
We use your information to respond to your enquiry and arrange consultations (legitimate interests and, where you proceed, steps prior to a contract); to provide dental care if you become a patient (contract, and legal obligations under dental regulation); and to send appointment-related communications. Where your enquiry includes health information, we process it on the basis of your explicit consent and, for patients, for the provision of healthcare (UK GDPR Articles 9(2)(a) and 9(2)(h)). We do not sell your data, and we only send marketing with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Who we share it with
Only where necessary to serve you: our practice management and IT providers (under data-processing agreements); dental laboratories involved in your treatment; our regulated finance partner, if you apply for finance (they act as an independent controller for your application); and professional advisers or authorities where the law requires. We do not transfer your data outside the UK except with safeguards recognised under UK GDPR.
5. How long we keep it
Website enquiries that do not become consultations are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. If you become a patient, clinical records are retained in line with NHS and professional guidance, generally 11 years from last treatment for adults, or until age 25 for children, and financial records for 6 years as required by law.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests; where processing relies on consent you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing. To exercise any right, contact Vinal@perfectsmile-dental.com, we respond within one month. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
7. Security and changes
We protect your information with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted transmission, access controls and staff training. We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
