What "fixed in writing" actually means
Implant pricing has a reputation problem: quotes that grow. A scan fee here, an abutment "not included" there, aftercare charged per visit. Our fix is structural, one figure, written down, before treatment starts.
The receipt shows the anatomy of every LDIC quote. The green items are always included. The struck-through items are the industry's favourite extras, permanently absent from ours. The only genuine variables are things your scan decides (like grafting) or things you actively choose (like sedation), both priced before you commit, never after.

What patients say about the price
NHS? Turkey? Straight answers
"Can I get implants on the NHS?"
Almost never, and here's the honest picture.
The NHS funds what's clinically necessary and classes dentures and bridges as adequate tooth replacement, so that's what it funds. NHS implants exist only for exceptional cases (cancer reconstruction, major trauma, congenitally missing teeth) via hospital referral and long waits.
The practical comparison
An NHS Band 3 denture or bridge costs £332.10 with months of waiting where eligible. Private implants start at £2,100, £175/mo territory on finance, with consultation this week. For ordinary tooth loss, private is realistically the only implant route, which is exactly why fixed pricing and genuine 0% matter. Read the full NHS implants guide →
"Implants in Turkey are half the price, catch?"
The saving is real. So is everything it excludes.
Good dentistry exists abroad. But the headline price buys a compressed timeline (healing stages rushed into one trip), aftercare a flight away, unknown implant brands with untraceable spare parts, and, if anything fails, UK remedial costs that regularly exceed the original saving.
Our honest advice
Implant treatment is a years-long relationship, not a transaction. If you're considering abroad, get a UK consultation first so you're comparing identical treatment plans, implant systems and aftercare, not just headline numbers. Ours is free, and the quote stands either way. Read the full Turkey evidence review →
Cost & finance FAQs
Because quotes hide different things. Some exclude the crown, the scan, the abutment or aftercare and reveal them later; others use unbranded implant systems with no long-term parts availability. Compare like for like: ask every clinic exactly what the figure includes, which implant system they place, and whether the price is fixed in writing. Ours always is.
Genuinely free, including the CBCT 3D scan, and with no obligation. The honest commercial logic: implants are a considered decision, and we'd rather you decide with a scan and a fixed written price in hand. Around a fifth of consultations end with us recommending something other than an implant.
No, that's what 'fixed in writing' means. The plan you sign is the price you pay, including the stated number of visits and aftercare reviews. The only additions are things you actively choose to add, priced before you choose them.
No. A deposit secures your surgery date, with the balance staged across treatment milestones, or spread monthly on finance from the start. You choose the structure at the treatment-plan stage.
Most UK policies exclude implants or cap contributions well below treatment cost, though some cover portions after accidents. Check your policy's implant clause specifically, and bring it to consultation; we'll help you read it and provide any documentation your insurer needs.
There are usually alternatives: a different term, a larger deposit with a smaller financed balance, extended-term options, or staged treatment aligned to your budget. A decline is a routing problem, not a dead end, we'll map the options with you.
