What are same-day implants?
Conventionally, implants are left buried for 8–12 weeks before teeth are attached. Same-day treatment, also called immediate loading or Teeth in a Day, attaches a fixed provisional tooth or bridge to the implants within hours of placement. The biology hasn't changed; the engineering has: when an implant achieves high initial stability in good bone, it can safely carry a carefully-designed provisional while it integrates.
